About your trip
Experience Peru like never before on this nine-day trip. Start in Cusco, where you’ll try your hand at a Peruvian cooking class before embarking on a walking tour to see the city’s top sights. We’ll venture to Piuray Lagoon, where you can choose between a kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding session, before heading to the Sacred Valley. We’ll take in Maras and admire the Inca ruins at Moray, followed by a stop at the Incan fortress of Ollantaytambo. Ready for the main event? It’s off to the extraordinary 15th-century ruins of Machu Picchu, high in the Andes Mountains. Snap incredible photos at Colca Canyon before finishing in Arequipa. Your last sendoff is a foodie tour of the city’s sizzling picanterias (local lunch restaurants). All of our trips are flightless in destination, with 100% of all carbon emissions offset. It's just part of how we see the world while being good to it.

Accommodation
Antigua Casona San Blas
This boutique hotel, in the heart of Cusco, blends tradition with modern charm. Hand-carved wood furniture features throughout the rooms, some of which are located in the newly restored casona – which dates back to the late 1700s. The property offers yoga classes and an array of massages in the spa, a perfect way to unwind after a long day exploring Cusco.
Sonesta Posada del Inca Yucay Hotel
You’ll find this 18th-century monastery in a unique natural setting, at the foot of a mountain. History seeps through the property, with wooden flooring and exposed beams or wood-panelled ceilings in the rooms. The courtyard, filled with flowers, is the perfect spot to sit back and relax.
El Mapi
El Mapi is a sleek, contemporary hotel, with excellent access to Machu Picchu. High ceilings and panoramic windows let in plenty of natural light, and rooms are kitted out with all the modern comforts any traveller needs. The on-site Spa del Bosque features a pine sauna, heated plunge pool and hydration zone, along with an array of treatments.
El Refugio
This refuge is a real oasis: it’s located along the Colca River, among the mountains and gardens, and with views of pollution-free starry skies at night. The rustic-style rooms are simply decorated, but each features a small terrace with a view of the surrounding landscape. If you need to relax, look no further – El Refugio is one of the few hotels in the area to boast their own private natural hot springs.
Casa Andina Premium Arequipa
This historic hotel, home to the Peruvian National Mint for several years in the late 1930s, dates back 225 years. Cosy rooms are traditionally furnished, with modern amenities. The location in Arequipa can’t be beat: it’s just five minutes away from the Plaza de Armas, the main square in the city.
