When the sun’s out, head for stunning Holyrood Palace before conquering the summit of Arthur’s Seat. Back in town, don’t skip the National Museum of Scotland or numerous art galleries. Next, sink down to the Edinburgh Dungeon or Blair Street Underground Vaults, where body snatchers Burke and Hare did their dastardly deeds. Last, it wouldn’t be Edinburgh without a touch of magic – apparate yourself to the Witches’ Well to ruminate on the city that inspired Harry Potter.
